Suatu hari, dua orang anak, Ronny dan Alex dibelikan ayahnya dua ekor kuda. Setelah masing-masing menerima kudanya, ternyata mereka berdua sulit membedakannya karena kudanya mirip.
"Bagaimana cara kita membedakannya?" tanya Ronny.
"Kita potong saja ekornya. Yang lebih panjang berarti milikku dan yang lebih pendek berarti milikmu."jawab Alex.
Lalu kuda keduanya di- kembalikan kepada penjual untuk dipotong ekornya. Besoknya, entah bagaimana caranya ternyata ekor kedua kuda tersebut terpotong secara tidak sengaja sama pendek oleh si penjual.
Ronny dan Alex menjadi semakin bingung tidak bisa membedakan kudanya. Akhirnya setelah berpikir sejenak, Ronnypun berkata :
"Bagaimana kalau kau membawa kuda yang coklat dan aku yang putih?"
